From the heart of Paro Valley
We are Sherab and Karma — born and raised in Bhutan, living in the shadow of Tiger's Nest. Let us show you our country the way only locals can.
Every morning, I wake up on my terrace in Paro with a cup of tea, looking out at Tiger's Nest perched on the cliffside. The mountains stretch as far as the eye can see, their peaks hidden in a soft veil of mist. This view never gets old.
We are experienced local guides with a passion for sharing our country with travelers. But we don't think of it as work — it's more like showing friends around. The vegetable markets where neighbors share stories, the monasteries where young monks play soccer after prayers, the rooftops covered in red chillies drying for winter.
When you travel with us, you don't see Bhutan from the outside. You live it — the way we do, every day.
"The landscape in Paro Valley is turning beautifully golden, signaling the start of the rice harvest season. This is one of the most beautiful times of the year."
— Sherab, from Paro
Bhutan is the only country in the world that measures success by happiness, not GDP. Here, the forests cover more land than they did a century ago. And time moves at its own, unhurried pace.
72%
Forest Coverage
The only carbon-negative country on Earth. Bhutan's constitution mandates that at least 60% of the land remains forested — forever.
GNH
Gross National Happiness
Instead of GDP, Bhutan measures progress through the well-being of its people. Spiritual and emotional health comes first.

People in the Kingdom
A tiny nation nestled between India and China, where everyone knows their neighbors, monks play soccer, and the king walks among the people.
Every trip is different because every traveler is different. Tell us what excites you, and we'll design something just for you.
Dzongs, monasteries, traditional villages, and local festivals. We'll introduce you to the living culture — not just the monuments.
5–10 days
From the classic Druk Path to the legendary Snowman Trek. Pristine trails through forests, past glacial lakes, above the clouds.
4–30 days
Tshechu festivals are Bhutan at its most vibrant — masked dances, ancient rituals, and entire communities coming together.
7–14 days
Have something special in mind? Photography, birdwatching, meditation retreat, family trip? Let's create it together.
You decide
From fortress monasteries perched on impossible cliffs to hidden lakes at 4,300 meters — Bhutan is full of places that don't just impress, they change you.
Perched on a cliff 900 meters above the valley floor, this is where Guru Rinpoche meditated for three years. The hike up is a pilgrimage in itself.
The "Fortress on a Heap of Jewels" — half monastery, half government seat, all living history. Cross the ancient wooden bridge and step into the 17th century.
At 4,300 meters, Drakey Pangtsho is a mirror reflecting the sky. The trek is demanding, but arriving feels like stepping into another world.
Standing there, with the wind softly blowing around me, I couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of peace and connection with something much greater than myself.
Sherab — on reaching Drakey Pangtsho at 4,300m
Born and raised in Paro Valley. We know every trail, every monastery, every family in the valley. This isn't a job — it's sharing our home.
We'll take you to places no guidebook mentions — hidden monasteries, roadside tsa tsa shrines, the water-powered prayer wheels on the path to Taklung.
Eat ema datshi with a local family. Watch chillies dry on rooftops in October. Join monks for morning prayers. This is Bhutan as we live it.
Visa, SDF, permits, hotels, transport — we handle all the logistics so you can focus on the experience. Every trip is personally designed around you.
Sherab writes about life in Paro — the small moments, the sacred rituals, the everyday beauty that makes Bhutan unlike anywhere else.
Daily Life
There's a moment every year in Paro that tells me winter is just around the corner. It's not the frost — it's the sight of red chillies drying on every rooftop...
Culture & Traditions
The ingredients I'm drying today come from much higher altitudes. These sacred trees — silver fir, spruce, and juniper — grow at over 3,000 meters...
Places
There are 35 young monks here, each just at the beginning of their journey. Despite their days of study and prayer, they find time for soccer...
A few essential things — we'll help you with all of this, but it's nice to know upfront.
